#3. If The Train Has Already Departed Then How Can I Cancel My Ticket?

If the train has been departed on time as prescribed by Railway Commercial Rules then you can cancel your ticket at any of the Railway Reservation Counters and you will get a “Cancellation Slip” and the due refund amount will be credited back to your Credit card / Bank account.

If the time limits also failed to submit your ticket at the reservation counter / station master and you be issued a Ticket Deposit Receipt (TDR). Send this TDR at the address given below

In case this is the situation with you then see the ticket confirmation page and hit on your “Booked Tickets” list.

Check your name in the list carefully as all the booked tickets details is available in this list. If you don’t find your name then it is confirmed that your ticket is not booked. The amount debited would be credited back to you in full without any charges. And you can try to book your ticket again.
